WHAT WE DO

Plaza Comunitaria Sinaloa is a community based, 501(C)3 non-profit organization.

We provide educational and workforce development programs to underserved communities in Burbank, CA and surrounding areas.

Our core programs include Adult Literacy, English as a Second Language (ESL), GED Test Preparation, Citizenship Test Preparation, Digital Literacy as well as workshops in Mental Health, Domestic Violence Prevention, and more.

MISSION:

Plaza Comunitaria Sinaloa is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities through education and employment development in Burbank, CA. Our primary goal is to bridge the educational divide, with a special emphasis on English language learners, by providing fair and inclusive access to essential education within a dynamic learning environment. Our mission extends to fostering a positive influence throughout the broader community, enhancing the well-being of individuals and their families. Moreover, we actively engage with the community by providing a shared venue for engaging recreational events that celebrate the rich tapestry of diverse cultures in Burbank, CA, and its nearby cities.
